True Vine Education Foundation provides financial, advisory, and technical support to True Vine Education Centre to partner in their efforts for providing educational, emotional, and nutritional access for the resilient communities of Pajule and greater Northern Uganda.
True Vine Education Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Longmont, Colorado. It supports the operation of True Vine Education Centre, located in Pajule, Northern Uganda, where over 250 children receive daily education. Children from nearby villages, who previously did not have close access to nursery and early primary education, are now a part of a thriving learning community.
Our Vision
Our goal is to nurture inspiration within the young minds of Uganda so that they may ultimately take part in the bettering of humanity’s future. We strive to be a model school for other educators and hope to inspire new ways of raising bright, independent, and creative minds.
Why We Are Needed
Prior to the start of True Vine Education Centre, some children in this area were required to travel between 5 and 7km (3-5 mi) by foot to the nearest primary school. With this obstacle, many children were not starting a formal education until the age of 9 or 10 years old. True Vine’s location now allows children to start their schooling at a much earlier age thanks to its close proximity to a number of villages.
